Congratulations to Paul Han for winning the first annual DXL Battle Championships 2009! The event was epic and I want to personally thank all of you for coming out to support. I hope you all had a great time this year and plan on making it out again next year. I've learned alot from this contest and you better believe next year will be even better! I'd also like to once again thank all of our sponsors for helping out this event. There are plans to get HD videos of the Main Event Battles online, but the videos are sitting on Bride's laptop out in Los Angeles. I'm helping Bride out with The Bill Liebowitz Classic 2009 which will be taking place on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Plummer Park in West Hollywood. This contest is also known as the Southwest Regionals and the winner will be seeded into Nationals. Be sure to check out The 2009 BLC Website for more information.

Welcome to the official DXL Battle Championships website! The first annual DXL Battle Championships will be held this June 20th, 2009 at The Lab in Costa Mesa, CA. There will be many things going on aside from the contest, we hope that you'll join us for everything!

Join us for a day of hanging out at Knott's Berry Farm with a bunch of your fellow yo-yoers. We will meet outside the front gate near the ticket booths at 12:30pm. Please don't be late.

Faust's Final Feast
Join us for an all-day BBQ filled with off the wall activities, games, contests, and most importantly food. All games and activities will have special prizes! The park also features the Volcom Skate Park of Costa Mesa which is free if you want to sneak away and skateboard.

(We will be located at the small shelter past the big playground near the baseball field.)

Time: 11:00am - 7:00pm

Cost:
$10 per non-competitor for food.
$15 per competitor for 2-minute qualifying rounds for the Main Event (includes food).
No charge to participate in Games & Activities

Games & Activities:
Piňata of Love - We bought a big Piňata and Duncan filled it with loot. Get what you can once the Piňata breaks!
Thor's Hammer Throw - Setup your yo-yo with a counterweight and throw it as far as you can! Furthest throw wins!
Grind Time - Team of 2 with an offstring yo-yo, throw the yo-yo onto a metal bar and have it grind across to your teammate on the other side, if it is catched successfully, you both get a prize!
